In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
The Lord Justices have requested that a Six Oared Boat be supplied to the Governor of Hurst Castle. The Navy Board is instructed to maintain the boat as required. (The text describes Hurst Castle as being on the Isle of Wight. It is, in fact, on the English mainland at the western end of the Solent).
