In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

Orders are to be given to the Commissioners of Victualling to supply the Men-of-War selected for Foreign service with four months' Victuals for four thousand men and to report on progress. As regards the Navy Board's letter wanting to know whether Captains Wylde and Roffey are to be paid ahead of all other Officers, the Admiralty opines that this could cause trouble unless the Navy Board has sufficient funds to pay the others. Captains W. and R. are to be paid however, with Captain R. paid first before going on Foreign service.
