In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
At a Court Martial held on board the VANGUARD at the Nore on the 29th August last, Captain John Graydon, C-in-C of HM Ships in the Thames and Medway, President, John Okey, late Surgeons Mate of the ASSISTANCE, was tried for speaking treasonable and seditious words on board the said Ship on the 3rd April 1696, and sentenced to forfeit all the Pay due to him on the said Ship to the Chest at Chatham, a Copy of which sentence comes enclosed.
We direct you to cause all the Pay due to him to be paid to the Chest at Chatham accordingly.
