Document signed by Josiah Burchett (c.1666-1746), Secretary to the Admiralty (1694-1742)
Following what was written in your letter of the 23rd inst; concerning the KATHERINE Hoy, the Master of which was lately carried into France, the Admiralty Commissioners have sent Orders to stop the trial till he and the evidence can be got together, so that you must let me know when they come from France for their Lorships' information.
