In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
It has been represented to us by the Captain of the hired Ship SMYRNA MERCHANT at Bristol that he cannot get enough Provisions sufficient to bring him to Plymouth, nor so far as Milford. Having lately directed the Captain of the LINCOLN to furnish the SMYRNA MERCHANT, which he is far from being able to according to his late letter from Kings Road, as he has not a sufficient quantity to bring him from there to Plymouth, we direct you to give Orders to the Victualling Commissioners to take speedy care for supplying these Ships, and herewith send you extracts of the Commanders' letters.
