In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
You have informed us by your letter of the 14th inst; that the Advice Boat building by Mr Frugar at Arundel, which we have named EAGLE, will be ready to launch the first Spring in October next. We direct you cause her to be launched at that time, or as soon as convenient, fitted out for Channel service, manned with her highest complement of Men which shall be established on her, and victualled for two months. You are to report to us what number of Men and number and nature of Guns will be fitting for her and other Advice Boats building at that place.
