In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We direct you to cause the MONCK at Chatham to be fitted out for Sea service in the Channel, manned with her highest complement of Men and victualled for ten weeks.
Upon the arrival of the LION at Woolwich you are to order her to be put in Ordinary and repaired for Sea service again, ordering the Captain, Lieutenants and the rest of the Officers of the LION, excepting the Warrant Officers and their allowed Servants, to be turned over into the MONCK.
We also direct you upon the arrival of the hired BONAVENTURE at Blackwall to cause her to be discharged from the Service and paid off.
You are to order the GERMOON Prize at Plymouth to be fitted out for Channel service and victualled for two months for her complement of Men.
