We have confirmed a warrant given by Sir George Rooke dated 16 January 1696 to Robert Pallister to be Boatswain of the PORTSMOUTH bomb vessel. You are to enter him accordingly together with such allowance of wages and victuals for himself and servant. His warrant is to be dated 1 October 1696.
