In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
You advised by your letter of 1 October that the officers at the Deptford yard have been ordered to survey the great cabin of the ROYAL TRANSPORT. They find that the Japanning is very well done and agree with what the magistrates at Carmarthen agreed with Mr Gumley for a cost of £250, with which you have no objection. You are directed to have this sum paid to Mr Gumley.
