Document signed by William Bridgeman, circa 1646-1699, English civil servant and Secretary to the Admiralty between 1694 and 1698

We received your letter of 12 October about the DUNKIRK and NORTHUMBERLAND and I am to advise you that the DUNKIRK arrived at Chatham where their Lordships would have her fitted there according to their order. They approve of the refitting of the NORTHUMBERLAND if it can be done.
