We have confirmed a warrant given by Sir George Rooke dated 14 January 1696, for Daniel Conduit to be Purser of the DORSETSHIRE in the room of the former deceased. You are to enter him accordingly together with such allowance of wages and victuals for himself and servant. His warrant is to be dated 14 October 1696.
