Document signed by Josiah Burchett (c.1666-1746), Secretary to the Admiralty (1694-1742)

The LYME and the EXPERIMENT have lain a considerable time at Spithead for want of provisions to enable them to proceed on their appointed station. You are to give directions to the Commissioners of the Victualling to have them supplied without any loss of time so that they do not grow foul before they break ground. The SUFFOLK is ordered up to Woolwich.
