In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

The BURLINGTON, MARY galley, LYME and EXPERIMENT, being ordered to cruise on the coast of France, under the command of of Captain William Kerr who has been directed to send them by turns to Portsmouth to clean and victual. You are directed to have these ships cleaned and refitted for Channel service and their victualling completed for 10 weeks.
