In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
William Hollard is to be appointed Boatswain of the ESSEX in place of the former removed to the new 2nd Rate building at Chatham. You are to enter him accordingly together with such allowance of wages and victuals for himself and servant. His warrant is to be dated 23 October 1696.
