In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Your letter today to our Secretary, advised that the 3rd Rate ships ordered to be refitted this winter at Chatham have not arrived. The LONDON, DUCHESS and DORSETSHIRE are ordered for the docks next spring and if the 3rd Rates do not arrive in time, SANDWICH and ALBERMARLE may be ordered up next. You are also advised that the EDGAR and DEVONSHIRE are coming to the Nore where orders are there for them to repair forthwith to Chatham.
