We have confirmed a warrant given by Sir George Rooke dated 29 November 1695, for David Stephenson to be Master Cooke in the IPSWICH in place of the former deceased. You are to enter him accordingly together with such allowance of wages and victuals for himself and servant. His warrant is to be dated 24 October 1696.
