We have been advised by the Captain of the RUBY at Chatham that the officers there find that the ship has had a very good coat of stuff and propose to heel her to give her boot hose tops. Their Lordships did direct that she be sheathed and have commanded me to write to you to know whether you have give orders for this to be done.
