In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
We have confirmed a warrant given by Sir George Rooke, Admiral of the Fleet in the Mediterranean, dated 9 January 1696, to John Seshett to be Master Cook of the TORBAY in place of the former deceased. You are to enter him accordingly together with such allowance of wages and victuals for himself and servant. His warrant is to be dated 16 October 1696.
