Enclosing a copy of a Court Martial held aboard the LONDON at the Nore, Captain John Munden Commander in Chief the Thames and Medway presiding, in which William Jury late Pilot to the BONAVENTURE was found guilty of running the ship aground at the Point of Sheerness Fort. He is sentenced to the loss of his Branch and is not to be employed again as a Pilot aboard HM ships.
