In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Captain Wivell of the ASSOCIATION at Portsmouth has nominated Lieutenant Jurin, three Mates and some Seamen to proceed up the Thames in a Merchant ship the Maulesfield together with the ROOK Galley and two ships from Malaga to replace the seafarers he took from those ships. Captain Robinson, Commander-in-Chief at Spithead, has reported a serious shortage of foodstuffs at Portsmouth and that Crews are complaining seriously.
