In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Captain Wivell of the Association, Port Commander at Portsmouth, has informed the Admiralty that there is an acute shortage of foodstuffs in ships at that Port to the extent that he is considering putting Men ashore. The Commissioners of Victualling are to be ordered to supply the same without delay.
