Document signed by William Bridgeman, circa 1646-1699, English civil servant and Secretary to the Admiralty between 1694 and 1698

I have laid before the Admiralty Commissioners your letter of the 19th April last concerning Slop Clothes for the Fleet, and in answer am to inform you that their Lordships have sent Circular Orders to the Commanders of his Majesty's Ships on the occasion of the alteration of the Slop Clothes, one of which Orders I send you enclosed. When new Instructions are printed the said alteration will be made therein accoding as is desired in your letter.
I likewise return you the estimate of the charge of providing Hammocks and Bedding of the Newfoundland Soldiers.
