In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
John Oswald and Christopher Short, late Gunner and Carpenter of the BONAVENTURE, being ordered last October to to Portsmouth to give evidence at the trial of Captain Watkins, and other officers appointed in their stead, we direct you to make them an allowance equal to their Pay from the time of their discharge from the said Ship till the Officers who succeeded them entered on board her, and that the same be paid them by Bill.
