In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
You have informed us that the new sixty Gun Ship building at Portsmouth (which we have named EXETER, and established with the same number of Men and number and nature of Guns as are allowed to the PEMBROKE) will be ready to launch about the 20 inst; We direct you cause her to be launched at that time or as soon as conveniently may be, fitted out for Channel service, manned with her highest complement of Men and victualled for ten weeks.
