In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
In pursuance of an Order from the Lords Justices in Council dated May 6th we direct you to cause to be paid to William Marchant of Guernsey, or such person as he shall appoint, the sum of ten pounds disbursed by him for keeping a fire on a point off the Island by Order of the late Lord Berkeley while he was on the Expedition against St. Malo with the Fleet under his command.
You are to cause the sum to be charged on Lord Berkeley on his Imprest account, which account you are to demand of his Executors.
