John Sewers Boatswain, John Dodson Gunner, and James Burton Carpenter of the JOSEPH Fireship in the Downs, have irregularly signed a Paper and transmitted it to this Board, representing that the Ship is not in a condition for the Sea, for which we have ordered their being dismissed from their Employment, and that their Tickets be made out and sent to you. We direct you not to pay them their wages till further Order from this board.
