In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board

The Lord Justices of England have directed that a Pension of eighty pounds a year should be granted to Mary Allen, Widow of Captain William Allen, late Commander of the BONAVENTURE, who was slain in a fight with with a French Man of War in October last off Scilly, in consideration of the loss of her Husband and the good service performed by him. We direct you to sign Bills on the Navy Treasaurer for paying this Pension according to the Course of the Navy.
