Document signed by William Bridgeman, circa 1646-1699, English civil servant and Secretary to the Admiralty between 1694 and 1698
Enclosing an extract of a letter from the Clerk of the Cheque at Kinsale reporting that the wreck of the LOOE had now broken up. Captain Rigby of the DRAGON in the Downs has reported that he has no peas and that his cabin windows are unglazed. An Order is given to rectify matters; and enclosing an extract of a letter from Captain Liell of the Woolwich stating that he is unable to stow eight months' dry Provisions. The Board is instructed to establish whether the size of her breadroom has been reduced and whether she was in the past able to stow such a quantity.
