Captain Thomas Jennings had been appointed Captain of the QUEEN for going to the Mediterranean with Captain Steward as her Second Captain. An instruction is given for Jennings to be paid thirty shillings a day as Captain until Steward was removed and Jennings appointed as Second Captain.
