In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Concerning the Petition of Mr Samuel Halbart who claims that he sailed as Gunner in the ST ALBANS Prize to Virginia where, upon the death of Captain Edward Poulson, he was commissioned by the Governor to be her Commander. An instruction is given for him to be paid his wages for his time in that ship based on the Commission; but care is to be taken that he is paid for no other during that time.
