Document signed by William Bridgeman, circa 1646-1699, English civil servant and Secretary to the Admiralty between 1694 and 1698
The Lords Justices want to know the method of keeping the Accounts of Provisions which pass between the Commissioners for Victualling and those that reveive them, and the Admiralty require the Navy Board to explain what that method is and to produce an explanation for showing to the Lords Justices by tomorrow morning.
