Document signed by William Bridgeman, circa 1646-1699, English civil servant and Secretary to the Admiralty between 1694 and 1698

Captain Viall commander of the CHESTER has informed the Admiralty that though he rates his First Lieutenant and his Master to be good officers there is a lack of harmony between them. An instruction is given for a replacement of the Master to be found.
