Account book relating to the operation of The Sailors’ Home and Red Ensign Club during the period 1907-1947, possibly used by the secretary Albert E. Loder. There are various accounts including details of expenses, wages, length of service of staff, gratuities, electric light consumption, contracts for improvements and bar commissions, together with an index. It includes a table of numbers of seamen able to be accommodated in the port of London in various missions for the years 1897-1908 and notes on ship models in the corridor outside the library.
