Naval papers of George Alexander Ballard including a log book from his service 1886-1895, an order book from his commands during the 1900s and copies of orders issued while Admiral of Patrols during the First World War. Also contains copies of reports on defences of British ports from committees he sat on and typewritten reports on officers under his command and Malta Dockyard.
