Volume titled 'The Atlantic Telegraph' containing a copy of the script of the comedy 'Steamship Great Eastern July 1866 Being a cableistic and Eastern extravaganza' (see RMG ID: CLF6/8) and a copy of the Script of 'Contentina', a comic operetta based on the GREAT EASTERN cable-laying expedition (see RMG ID: CLF/6/7). Also includes a copy of the transcripts of news received through the 1865 Atlantic cable from its recovery (see RMG ID: CLF/6/6) as well as additional telegrams received through the cable laid in 1866.
