Letter from Mrs Susannah Middleton to her sister Miss Marion Leake, Gibraltar, 27 Mar-3 April [1806], Sir Sydney Smith has arrived with a convoy, send items by the PREVOYANT from Woolwich to avoid paying freight, expense of provisions in Gibraltar, had dinner with Captain Capel, news of officers, family news, Captain Fremantle organised visit on the NEPTUNE, made clothes for Captain Middleton, going to make a mattress and pillows, asks for salt which is hard to obtain.
