Account by Frederick Cleeve discussing relations between the army and navy during the Crimean War, in particular Gen Sir Edward Bruce Hamley, KCB and Admiral Sir Edmond Lyons, GCB, Baron Lyons. Cleeve was Naval Secretary to Lyons during this time, the account was written up in 1895-96.
