Autograph printed order issued by Admiral Arthur Herbert, afterwards Earl of Torrington to the Fleet conveying William of Orange and his army to England in 1688. This order, dated 9 November (30 October Old Style) is to appoint alternately rendezvous for the Fleet. In the event of a wind between south and west, the rendezvous is to be in the Toes or Humber; at Cowes, if the wind is between north and east, 9 November 1688.
