Printed paper on the supposed discovery of the north coast of Greenland by Elisha K. Kane, assistant surgeon in the United States Navy, a condensed version of that written in Danish by Dr. Hinrich J. Rink, inspector in Greenland for the Danish Government, as read before the Royal Geographical Society of London on 12 April 1858.
