Two carte-de-visite photographs showing Murray Thomas Parks as a young man, by the studio of C. Ferranti, Bold Street, Liverpool, dated 1871 and 1878. A newspaper cutting with an account of the landing on Amsterdam Island in the southern Indian Ocean, made by boats from the iron screw frigate HMS RALEIGH (1873), by Lieutenant Charles E. Gissing, dated 29 May 1880.
