Journal kept by Henry Vernon Lovett-Thomas as a cadet and midshipman on the battleship HMS REPULSE (1892) in the Channel Squadron, and later the cruiser HMS ECLIPSE (1894) on the East Indies station, covering the period 15 January 1898 to 14 May 1900. It includes track charts, technical drawings, and ephemera.
