Log of HMS VESTAL (1833), Captain Cospatrick B. Hamilton, on the North America and West Indies station, between 12 June 1852 and 14 April 1854. Log of the same vessel under Captain Thomas P. Thompson, bearing the flag of Rear-Admiral Arthur Fanshawe, between 14 April 1854 and 23 March 1855.
