Contains two black notebooks with notes relating to the Times Book club and other books, two copies of 'A Journal kept by William Davidson (A Seaman) on board a Russian Privateer.' 1788-1789, edited by Henderson, a copy of 'Over-sea Trade in War' by Admiral Sir Edmund Fremantle with his compliments. Various diagrams, lectures and articles on navay matters and a statement showing the rates of pay for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines, and a list of H.M. Ships and Auxiliaries lost during the First World War.
