Album containing autograph letters of political and literary figures of the nineteenth century, together with items relating to Admiral Page, his grand-nephew Reverend Alexander Shaw Page, and other members of the Page family, circa 1802-1910. It includes letters to Page from Field Marshall Arthur Wellesley, Duke of Wellington, 1808-1839; a letter to Page on HMS CAROLINE, from Nelson at Merton, dated 2 December 1802; a portion of a papal bull forming part of the back of the log of HMS INFLEXIBLE, kept by Page, 1800-1802; and a letter written by Robert Walpole, 1722.
