Telegraph Construction and Maintenance Co Ltd Cable Engineer's Log No 73 written by Robert London, engineer in charge on the WILLIAM CORY (1857). It covers the picking up of the old Malta to Alexandria cable and return to Victoria Docks in London between 25 July and 18 September 1872. Tables showing the amount of cable recovered and coiled in the ship's hold are included.
