In-letters and orders received by the Navy Board
Sir Francis White, Commander of the RUPERT, informs that Sir John Berry on viewing his orders to pay the seamen finds that the BRISTOL men ordered into his ship are not included, as ordered by the Navy Board to be paid off, so that half of his Company who came out of the KENT will be paid and the other half not. Sir John has enough money to comply but wants Board approval.
Ask what objections you have against payment of these men, also 14 of the LARKE men who Sir Francis informs were removed into the GUERNSEY, afterwards transferred into the CENTURION and KENT, and since to the RUPERT, so that the necessary orders may be given.
Your attendance is desired on Wednesday morning at eight of the clock.
