Captain Kirke of the SALLY ROSE has written in regarding his Boatswain. The Board is to ensure that a Surgeon is supplied to that ship. Their Lordships have been in formed of the matter of the Commander of the MERLIN Yacht refusing to tow four boats as directed by the Surveyor of the Navy. The author confirms that he has written to him asking for an explanation.
