The commander of the RICHMOND has reported that he is unable to stow the full quantity of stores alotted to him for the voyage to Virginia. Orders are given for any balance of stores for either the RICHMOND or the SWALLOW to be carried by the merchant ships accompanying them in convoy to the West Indies. A plea is made for hastening the ships to assemble at the Nore.Captain Akerman the Master Attendant Afloat is to go down the Thames, inspect ships and report on what may be causing delay and to check what stores are on board and what may be lacking. He is to inform all captains that not a moment is to be lost in readying their ships.
