Document signed by Phineas Bowles, Secretary to the Admiralty [1689-1690], 1647-1714
The proposals of William Musco and James Wilson. To work up every yard of canvas for the making of sails; for HM to find a storehouse in Deptford would be a great advantage and safety for several reasons. The total sum for the sails would be £10.11.7 1/2. Therefore hope your Lordships will take the proposals into consideration. NB- ask the Navy Board for an opinion. n.d.
