Document signed by Admiral Arthur Herbert, First Earl Torrington, 1648-1716
Richard Dawson late Master Gunner of the WINDSOR CASTLE was granted a pension as a superannuated officer on leaving that ship. He joined the HARWICH a year later however. Having now been discharged from the HARWICH an order is given that the pension should commence from the time he left the HARWICH.
